WE LOVE SEEING HIGH SCHOOL STUDENTS SUCCEED AT THEIR TRIATHLON SPORT.
WHAT BETTER WAY THAN PROVIDING A RACE THAT ACCOMMODATES THEIR AGE DEMOGRAPHIC?
A RACE WITH A PURPOSE
The HSTriClub experienced a great loss on June 9th, 2017, when fellow teammate John C. Brandt passed away suddenly in a tragic accident.
John was a talented athlete of only 18 years old, and was greatly respected by his teammates, not only because of his dedication to the sport, but also because of his gentle nature and encouraging attitude. Though hearts were broken, many wanted to contribute to something that would continue to honor the life of this beloved young man.
In the summer of 2018, the HSTriClub teamed up with USAT and Ultramax Sports in order to host the first ever J.C.B Missouri High School Triathlon Championship.
MO-HSTRI became the first USAT approved youth triathlon race in Missouri, as well as the largest youth attended race- seeing over 60 youth triathletes cross the finish line.
HSTriClub is excited for more youth triathletes to compete in the 2019 MO-HSTRI, and have hopes to see 100 high school students cross taht finish line!
