Giving Back: The Orange Army in Action 🧡
Each summer, the High School Triathlon Club proudly partners with the Missouri Disabled Water Ski Association (MDWSA) to make a huge impact on people’s lives. Giving back is part of who we are — we believe in developing the whole person: physically, mentally, and spiritually through the power of service.
Affectionately known as “The Orange Army” our team dives in to help MDWSA athletes with disabilities experience the joy of adaptive water skiing, tubing, boat rides, and the great outdoors. These moments change lives — theirs and ours.
As strong swimmers and team players, our athletes are the perfect volunteers — assisting in both shallow- and deep-water starts, helping participants safely get in tubes or boats, and ensuring everyone has a fun, safe, and empowering day on the water.
No prior experience? No problem! Full training is provided at every event, and there are plenty of ways to get involved — whether you want to stay dry onshore or jump in to help in the water.
MDWSA is deeply grateful for the dedication and heart of the High School Tri Club. Their seven summer events across the St. Louis and St. Charles area simply wouldn’t be possible without the energy and compassion of our incredible volunteers.
